Preschool Graduation

Skylee's graduation was this week and I have to say that I cannot believe that I have a preschooler. Time has flown by way to fast. It seems just like yesterday that we were learning to crawl, then walk and talking.
Sky has turned into such an amazing little girl. She is so sweet and kind hearted and always thinks of other people first. I just love her!
So while in preschool her friends were Kenna, Brody, Carly, Cohen and of course Cole. Everytime I would pick her up from school I would have to hear about Cole and how he liked Lightning Mcqueen and blocks. And Cole would always saved a place of her at the table next to him. I just loved it!!
Anyways Congrats to my graduate!! You Rock!

WOW its been a long long time!!

Woah so I finally realized that I have been way, way, way behind on my blogging. Sorry everyone...
So here is the one of many reasons. Mine computers hard drive went A-WALL and I couldn't download any pictures.. That is enough to make anyone crazy. So anyway I had to by a new computer.
Okay, okay enough complaining let me tell you what we have been up too!!!
Lets see in March Josh, Skylee, Grandma Lisa and Grandma Jod all loaded up into the truck and went for a 8 hour drive to Colorado to pick up the Coolest Pony Ever!!. As soon as Skylee saw her she fell in love. It was kinda of funny when we saw Miss Dandy we knew immediately that she was ours. Kinda weird but her and Skylee share the same birthday. Coincidence???
In April it was Miss Skylee bug BIG 4 Birthday!! We had a party at grandma and grandpa Brown's complete with the Lightning Mcqueen Birthday cake!! Lil miss spoiled walked away with a new rope saddle, pop up barrels and toys, toys and more toys!!
In May Josh, me, Kelli, Chad, Stepahanie, and Heath decided to do the Red Rock Relay in Moab. Going into this 70 mile relay I didnt know what to think of it. But I would have to say that it was probably one of the funnest times I have had in a long time. 11 hours in the truck with 5 other people was a hell of a good time. I would seriuosly do that again in a heartbeat with the same group of people!
So anyway that was a super,super short recap of the last couple of months.

So I didn't realize that my last post was in October! Wow time flies when your having fun or chasing a 3 1/2 year old around!

I will try my best to get you update with the Cowdell Clan!
The first week of December Skylee had her Suzie Snowflake dance recital! She was full of it! Giggling, singing she loved being on stage. So we have her back in dance and she keeps asking when she goes on stage again!
Oh then Christmas all she wanted was Mater and Lightning McQueen monster truck, dolphin pillow pet and a dinosaur, notice not ONE girl thing. I was going to throw in a Barbie under the tree but then I thought this her and no way am I going to change it!
Josh spoiled me again for Christmas with a beautiful china hutch, entertainment center and Gorgeous set of Nettle Stirrups! (he told me he couldn't believe that he would ever spend that much on stirrups!). So needless to say he doesnt use my saddle to heel on!

Oh we sold Lightning Mcqueen the goat. She has gone to a weird goat farmer in Carbon County and they are going to use her to breed. Adios Lightning!! But now I have to get a pony.

Josh has been roping as much as he can in the winter so he can be ready for spring. Skylee has been riding Ms. Flicka with mom.

I'm getting ready to run more half marathons this year and my crazy running friend is insisting that I run a full marathon in June. (thanks Kelli). So here I go! Oh Josh is going to run his first half marathon in April! woohooo.

And finally Skylee has moved on from the toddler bed to the big girl bed. So I have been taking down all the baby stuff and changing to little girl stuff. Its kinda sad to see all the stuff go.

Halloween Half Marathon

This year we decided to run the Halloween Provo Half Marathon and it was probably the funnest times I had (pre-race). First we had to meet at the University Mall at 6:00am and ride a bus up to Sundance Ski Resort. And you would think our bus driver would just drive up Provo Canyon, oh no he took us up American Fork Canyon. We realized this after we had been talking and laughing when all of a sudden Kelli looks up and says "Are we in Lindon?" ummm yeah we are in Lindon. So after and hour half ride up the canyon we finally made it.

Then we get off and see thousands of people all dressed up, and there are some creative people!

The first 4 miles was an 8% down grade and we were cruisin but as soon as I got out of the resort and was by the tunnel my calves ankles were so sore! I had no idea that we would be running straight down hill for long.

But it was fun I got to run with some of the cutest girls around, Kelli, Trysta and Tiffany. And all of our family was there at the end cheering us on!

Dinosaur Museum

While we were at the Gorge for the deer hunt we realized that we had forgotten Skylee's helmet to ride the 4 wheelers so we decided to make a trip to Vernal to pick one up.

Skylee is obsessed with dinosaurs and thinks they are the coolest things around! So grandpa Rod decided that we should go to the Dinosaur museum! Sky was so excited she got to see her favorite dinosaur the triceratops!

She was a little nervous to stand next to them by herself. So dad had to stand next to her.

Deer Hunt 2010

This was my first year that I actually had a deer rifle permit and I wasnt so sure how I was going to like this but it turned out to be one of the best family vacations!

We went up to Manila and stayed with Josh's grandparents and the weather was perfect. Flaming Gorge is so pretty this time of year.

Skylee had a great time and she was our Coyote tracker and wabbit hunter. She was able to point out the coyotes and wabbits!

The DIRTY Dash!!

So a while back I saw this flyer for the Dirty Dash were you run 6.2miles in the mud and obstacles. I thought to myself this sounds like fun but never thought about it again. Then two weeks ago I decided to go to there website just to check it out and saw that some of the proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma foundation for Utah and I knew right then I was going to do this race! Come hell or high water I was doing this! I called Josh up at work and told him I was doing this and why and he said that he wanted to run this!

Now Josh hates to run and usually prefers to be on horseback so I was little taken back. I said "Are you sure?". "Hell yeah I will do it!" So here we go!!

Now the reason I did this was because one of the greatest men I know was diagnosed with Leukemia this year and I knew I had to run this for my grandpa Van. If anyone has had the pleasure of meeting him you will know that he is one of the toughest guys around but on the other hand he is the most kind hearted, generous, loving man that I know.

So while running this crazy race(keep in mind that its up hill a lot of the way and then through some mud, jumping over a 6 ft wall, getting stuck in the mud and running in a bog up to your knee's) I just kept thinking of grandpa and how much he has gone through and knew I am a BROWN and I could do this.

Josh kicked butt like normal. That man is amazing; never runs, drinks beer and ropes. And he kicked ASS! He was waiting at the finish line for me with my mom, dad, Skylee and my awesome friends the Taylor family (Thank you).

So all in all it was one of the Greatest races I have ever ran! I love you Grandpa!!

Summer

Okay, okay I have been really bad about posting all summer long. It seems like summer was just here for a month and now its leaving. So here is an update on everyone.

Skylee is turning into a little girl and loves, loves to talk and talk and more talking. She loves to be outside everyday and play with her animals. She loves to ride Flicka and likes to push cows down to the roping chute. She has been in summer pre-school and loved it. So we have her back in for fall.
Josh has been busy this summer. He won 2 buckles roping on his birthday. What a way to end a birthday or what. He was pretty happy about about winning the buckle for the rough stock roper.
And for me I have been busy keeping up with Sky and all of her activities. Josh has been helping me learn to breakaway which takes a lot a coordination. Its a lot easier when your practice on the roping dummy compared to controlling your horse at a run, swing a rope, aim, then throw and stop your horse. Flicka has been so patient with me hitting her in the head with the rope. She probably thinking "come on women whats so damn hard about this"! I think eventually I will go back to cutting. Just waiting for that damn High Brow Cat horse!! But until then its pretty fun.
In August Josh and I went up to Jackson for our 11 year anniversary. Wow 11 years have gone by so fast.
We had an awesome time! Just to get away and not be parents! We had a lot of fun dancing at the Million Dollar Bar.

What a weekend

So this weekend Skylee had her first junior rodeo! She did stick horse barrels and lead line barrels. The stick horse was a little slow going around the barrels stopped mid-way to cry and then slowley brought her home. I'm not going to lie it wasn't the fastest time! But Sky managed to control her wild stick horse "Rooster" and ride him bridleless. (bridle broke going to 3rd barrel).
Then comes the lead line thanks to Amanda we got to borrow cute little Taffy the pony. And Josh couldn't go fast enough. She kept telling her dad "go, go, go". So she told me she wants to be in the "roeo" again but wants to ride a real horse preferably Taffy. So I'm now looking for a Taffy!
So during all of this my mom and dad were there cheering Sky on went my mom felt really sick. So my dad rushed her home when they were caught in traffic my mom was having a heart attack. They rushed her to Tooele hospital then life flighted her to U of U.
My dad calls me and tells me of the situation and I have to say that was one of the hardest things I ever had to hear.
Call me crazy but I never thought anything could happen to my mom. She is the toughest women I know and see her in pain just brought me tears.
Driving frantically from Tooele to U of U, it made me realize how much I take my mom for granted and all the things she has done for me. She is amazing mom that would do anything for anybody without even thinking about it.
Luckily she is home and feeling much better. And I thank God she is home. I love her so much and I dont know what I would do without her.
It just makes you think that one phone call can change your life and situation pretty damn quick.

Thanksgiving Point Half Marathon!

Well all of our hard work paid off! Kelli and I finished our half marathon. It was a lot of work, swearing and determination but we got it done! I finished in 2.08 and that last mile was a killer I thought that the mile markers were getting farther and farther away. But we did it!
Thanks Kelli for being my running buddy! I couldnt have done it without you! I love your positive atlook on everything. You kept me going!
Well thats one thing I can check off my list! And know I have to think of something else to do before I die and its probably not going to be a marathon!

The Big 3

Happy Birthday Miss Skylee Bug!!
I cant believe that its been three years, I guess time flies when your having fun!
This whole weekend we have pretty much celebrated her birthday, which I think is okay since I like to do the same for my birthday.
Friday night we talked Josh into letting her open a couple of her gifts from us. She got a camera that she loves! (I will post pictures that she took), clothes (not so fun), activity center, crayons, markers.
Saturday was her big party (thank you for everyone that came!) She had her cousins, friends, grandparents, great- grandparents, uncles and aunts. She got a lot of neat things, John Deere tractor which was a hit with all her boy friends (thank you uncle Cody), Tinkerbell scooter, and Tinkerbell sleeping bag, Sand and water activity set, more tractors and cute clothes. The kiddos had an Easter Egg hunt that lasted all but 10 seconds. They are quick at finding eggs!

Spring

Wow it has been awhile since I have posted something! So here we go.....

Josh decided that Skylee needed a goat.(thanks Chad and Kelli) So we are proud owners of a little female goat named "Lighting Mcqueen" after the movie CARS. I tried to get Skylee to name her something like "Sweetie" but no, it was either "Mater or Lighting Mcqueen". And Josh's motive of getting a goat is to practice roping. So now he will quit heeling me as I walk.

Less then two weeks will be Skylee bugs 3rd birthday!!! And drum roll please.... Skylee has gone 5 days in the potty!!! She just decided one day that she was going to be a "big girl" and has gone potty ever since.

And I have been busy trying to train for this damn half marathon. I starting to think that this is a little crazy. When I'm 8 miles into this and my knees and legs are killing me. I keep thinking why am I doing this? So I have month till race day.

Psychic Reading

I know this sounds crazy but I had animal communicator come to my home and give me a reading on my animals. What an experience!
Rusy thought that he was the protector of the family and watches over us and that he is good with kids. He also thinks Tank gets away with too many things. Which is true. I thought this was interesting but the animal physic told us are animals mirror us. And so Rusty said that he was sore in his knee and shoulder but he was not going to complain about because he was tuff. If anyone know Josh that is how he acts! And Josh has pain in his knee's and shoulders. Crazy.
Gator was a happy easy going dog and he said that he had sharp teeth!! Not much of a talker but he is just happy.
Tank thinks he is the baby of the family and he very kind hearted.
Thumbs the cat thinks he is AWESOME and likes to catch birds and he thinks he is better then the dogs. Which is true and he always catching birds.
Stumpy thinks I'm to complicated that's why we don't connect. But he loves Josh and likes to work as a team. He also thinks Josh acts like a monkey because he is so athletic. Again that's true. And Stumpy wants us to have peacock because they are funny. What a weird horse
Flicka loves me and we work together so well. She thinks we look a like and we are pretty. And she likes to look pretty and flashy and wants blingy tack. ( Is that my horse or what!!) She said that she will take care of Sky when she is ready to ride. But don't put Sky on Stumpy. Flicka is very kind hearted and likes children and babies.
And Skylee my little psychic.. She told the communicator that she will have Flicka later down the road and I will be getting a light colored or white horse. This is weird but Sky keeps telling her grandma that she is going to ride a white horse. We never knew what she was talking about. But now we do. This is horse is going to amazing at whatever it does. So I'm trying to think of a white High Brow Cat ;). Also Sky is going to be amazing rider and wants to be fancy.
Flicka said Rooster has left his body and his happy. And that she is my favorite now.
Anyways what an experience. I loved every minute of it!!

Spring Fever

So we have spring fever in a bad way!! Sky has been sick for a couple of days and that has kept in the house and we are going crazy. So with the weather being somewhat nice. We took advantage of it and headed outside.
I cannot believe in a couple of months Sky is going to be turning the big 3!! Wow time flies. She is growing up so fast and is becoming so BOSSY!! I guess that's what you get when your the only kid.

Christmas!!

So I have been a little slow about blogging lately. I have been busy. So here is a little re-cap of the holidays.
It seemed like every weekend we had a christmas party or something to do.
Skylee for x-mas was spoiled like every year. All she wanted from Santa was watercolors and was so excited that she got them. She also got a cute little horse from my parents and a dump truck from her other grandparents.
Josh and I have been busy playing the Wii. I got the Wii Fit and it has alot of fun games to play on.
So for mine and Skylee's new year resolution is to get her potty trained. So wish us luck we might be home for a couple of days!!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was way fun this year!! Started off with going to the gym and working out for awhile!! Then we went over to Lisa and Rod's for turkey dinner and it was delicious!! And after that we roped for the rest of the night. You can't get any better then that!! I told Josh it was kinda of funny taking the horses with us for Thanksgiving dinner!!! Anyways we are decorated and ready for Christmas!!

So I found this cute little tree today and Sky was so excited to put in her room. She picked the color out all by herself and decorated by herself.And as you can tell she put all the ornaments on one branch. She loved it and was so excited to show her dad when he got home from work. She is funny kid!

So this year Sky was a little devil!! She was so stinkin cute this year, she loved going door to door getting candy. She made out pretty damn good on the candy deal. As usual going to her grandma's they spoil her like crazy. Anyways it was a fun Halloween Josh wasnt hunting this year so he got to help me hand out candy.

10K

So I did it!! I ran my 10k saturday and luckily the weather was perfect to run. I took 7th in my age division. And I ran it under 1hour. And that was my goal.
So now I'm thinking maybe a half marathon. I just need to add 6 more miles to what I'm running now.
Anyways it was a great weekend. Josh and I rode the horses up in the mountains and the weather was perfect. You couldn't ask for a better day!

This weekend we decided to take Sky over to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. Well I have to say that was a kinda a waste of money. The only thing Sky really liked and wanted to do was ride the mechanical bull!! (Is she a mini version of her dad or what!). Since she wasnt big enough we took over to the fun house, and that really freaked her out. So we decided to go over to the farm side and of course she was happy!
Then the sunday we took the 4wheeler up Mercur Canyon and Sky loved that she kept telling her dad "Fast, Fast". We saw about 12 does up close so Skylee had to say "Hi deer" and off they would run away.

Weekend

So this weekend was pretty fun. I ran another 5k and ran it in 26.49 and placed 6th in my age division. I knocked a minute off of my time! So hopefully I'm ready for the 10k in October!

So I havn't posted for awhile. So I thought I better get to it. So since my last post lets see...turned the big 30!! My birthday was nice,Josh said I celebrated all week. Which is okay that's usually how it goes anyway.

I'm running 5.5 miles now. Less then a month to my 10k. Which I'm pretty excited about. But with all this running I havent been riding for awhile. So last week Josh and I went up to Mercur Canyon it was sooo nice!! The weather was PERFECT!!!. I just love these fall days. Too bad they dont last that long.

Rooster

One of the sadest days came upon me on August 31st, 2009. My sweet Rooster passed away at the beautiful age of 21.

He was given to me on my birthday 2003 from my father-in-law. He was reiner, working cow-horse, rope horse, trail horse and very amazing babysitter.

Everyone new Rooster and loved him immediately. He had personality that was all his own.

The first time I ever saw Rooster I thought he was beautiful, he had mane that went way past his neck and it was always in braids and his bay coat was so shiny.

One day Rod thought I should ride him since I had never rode a reiner. I thought this is going to be easy I've rode cutting horses and a reiner no prob. Rod showed me how to cue him to spin and when he started to spin, he spun so hard I couldn't get him to stop and I ended up on his neck.

He was the best babysitter you could ask for. I could put Skylee on him and know that she was in good hands. He taught Skylee confidence in riding horses.

And I know that Skylee and I will have more horses over our lifetime but we will never forget him.

Rest in Peace Rooster, you will never be forgotten.

This weekend for our 10 year anniversary we went up to Park City for the night. It was a lot of fun. We ate at a wonderful place and strolled up and down main street into different stores. And after that we went to bar to have some drinks.
Josh was cute and bought stuff for me and Skylee. After the weekend he said "Having two girls in the family is going break me!!"

10 Year Anniversary

Grandma Lisa found this Cat dozer and I think it's one of Skylee's favorite toys. It came with a hard hat and wears it everywhere. She is such a little tom boy!! She has a playroom full of dolls and barbies and she would rather play with her cars and tractors.

Weekend

So last week was my first week training for a 10k. Its been pretty fun so far. last week I ran a total of 13.5 miles. Saturday I did a group run with a bunch of girls and it was a a lot of fun. I was fortunate to be in lead most of the time.
Then Saturday night Josh and my dad had a jackpot roping in Tooele. So loaded everything up and headed out. I was pretty happy with both of them. They both got call backs.
Skylee was a trooper and was up past midnight with no nap. Cute Blake, Angie and my mom helped entertain little Sky.
Oh and friday night we had a farewell party for Blake and Angie they are moving to South Carolina. It was nice but were sad that they left.

Yesterday I bought 10 goldfish to put in the horse trough. And their names are........ "Roo", yes everything that needs a name around our place is called "Roo" after her horse. So we have 10 Roo's, well actually 8 and maybe 7 because while I was giving supplements to the horses she decided to catch one. And much to my surprise she actually caught one.

Anyways here some recent pics of Sky she was helping me sweep the barn.

So heres a update since my last post... I have been attempting to pottytrain Skylee and I think this is so much harder then giving birth!!! She went a whole day without going potty! Yikes.. I was worried so I put a diaper on her and she was so happy. So then I thought I would bribe her with a treat or toy. No such luck. So Skylee-1 Mom-0. Oh well I will give it a try later in the week.
I ran another 5k this weekend with one of my friends. I wasnt to thrilled about my time a 28.30 yuck!! I'm thinking I'm going to start training for a 10k. So here I go!!
Josh was in the Rush Valley Rodeo team roping but his headers missed. So no money! But I have to say that is one of the best rodeos around!! I think next year Sky will be in the mutton riding and maybe barrels. We will have to see!!

4th of July

This 4th of July we decided to take Skylee to the zoo. The weather was nice and cool and all the animals were out and running around. She had a really good time. And after the zoo we went over to the Gateway and let her play in the fountains while mom shopped. How perfect is that!!!

She loved the fountains until she got wet. Then she was mad.

Sunday the three of us when fishing out on Vernon reservoir it was nice, hardly anybody was out on the water. So all in all it was a pretty nice 4th.

Skylee has been riding "Roo" and doing really well. She loves it when we lope and look at the buffalo. And she gets mad if we leave to go for a ride without her.

Weekend

So here is a little re-cap of last week... Thursday we took Skylee over to the Lehi horse parade and she loved it.. She thought all the little pony's and mini's were babies. It was really cute. Skylee has started to ride Rooster by herself now and she thinks she is pretty hot stuff. Rooster is such an amazing horse and never gets excited and he seems to know when she is on him and he is so patient. So next year Sky will probably be in the parade.

Then Saturday was Josh's 30th birthday we had a little family get together. It was really nice. And then Sunday we rode horses behind my parent house and Skylee went with us. She did really well.

This weekend we decided that Skylee's crib should turn into a toddler bed. She was so excited to sleep in her big bed with her Dora pillow.
The first night she decided to get out of bed and take all the blankets out of her dresser and then when she was bored with that she decided she needed to scoot around her room on her lion scooter.

Since saturday it rained most of the time we decided to take Skylee to the The Living Planet Aquarium. I thought it was pretty cool and Skylee liked all the purple fish. The aquarium isn't the biggest but it was still pretty cool.

Then Monday we took her over to the Legacy Center to swim and she loved that. Josh taught her how to plug her nose when she goes under water and she loves to jump in the pool. (Don't worry mom she had her life jacket!).

Other then it being a rainy weekend we had great time together as a family!

Mothers Day weekend we went down to OtterCreek in Piute County. It was fun but not the warmest. Skylee loved the 4-wheeling, fishing and Teresa's 8 week old Jack Russell puppy.

Sky also loved the idea of being dirty the whole time. Me on the other hand had a hard time with that. I hate being dirty and having dirty kids!!

Western Nationals

Sunday the whole family went up to watch Rod cut at the Western Nationals. And Skylee Loved it!!

She really wanted grandpa Cowdell to take her over to the cows and let her cut. I think cutting is in the blood. And I think her dad is eventually going to end up buying two High Brow Cat cutting horses!! One for Skylee and one for mom!!

With the weather being so awesome. Skylee and I have been outside all day everyday. Who wants to be inside when its 80 degrees!! So we have been busy playing in her playhouse, sand box and riding horses.

Happy Easter!! This weekend has been fun and busy. Saturday Josh and I ran a 5k we both came in the top 30. Josh ran 27.30 and I ran 27.49 I was pretty happy with that. Then I came home and made Easter bunny cakes for Josh and Skylee. While I was doing that Josh was finishing up on the Chateau (playhouse) for Sky. It's pretty much finished. I'm just finishing making a plaque for it and the it will be done!! Then I have been pleading with Josh to harrow my riding arena all spring so finally dad and Skylee did that for mom!! Yeah I can finally exercise my horses in the backyard!!!

2yr check-up

Today we had Skylee's 2 year check up. She is a whopping 25lbs and 33.75 inches tall!
She is in the 25% range in weight and 50% in height. So basically she is small.
Everything else she right on track for her age. She had only one shot this time and all she did was whimper. But she did throw a huge 2 year old fit when we had to leave the books at the doctors office. I asked the doctor how long does the terrible two's last for, and he chuckled and said about 18years!! 2 years down 16 more to go!!

Sunday was Skylee's Birthday. All of her grandma's, grandpa's, Great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends all showed up for her birthday!!
She was SPOILED!! She got a ton of cute summer outfits, Barbie (she is not into at all), trucks, play shoes (she is always wearing my shoes.),jewelry, sand box, sandtoys and a cute playhouse. (I will post a pic of her new playhouse as soon as dad is finished building it!)
We had a cute farm theme for her party. She loves animals and so she picked that one out. It turned out super cute!

Since yesterday was so nice we decided to take Skylee with us on a ride behind my parents house. She LOVED it!! She rode with grandma on her horse Rooster. And she had a smile the whole time. I was really proud of her.
Skylee has the best horse you could ask for. Grandpa Cowdell gave him to me for my birthday six years ago and I gave him to Skylee. He is the best babysitter you could ask for.

Whew!! I passed my hunters safety!!! I decided that I should take hunters safety so I could officially go and hunt something.
It was kinda funny I was the oldest person and one of the few girls that was in the class. The class mainly consisted of 10-15 year old boys. I was thinking I'm old enough to be their mom!! But Josh helped with the shooting part, he took me every weekend so I could practice and told me what I needed to do.

So I'm sorry that I haven't been updating pics of Skylee lately, but my camera broke. I don't know what it is with me and electronics lately. First our t.v., then my food processor now my camera. So as soon as I get my camera fixed I will be updating pictures of Skylee. She has this thing with Kid Rock (she is like her mom) but every time Kid Rock comes on she dances. Its just in her genes I guess. But it's pretty cute to watch.

January 19th was my grandpa Van's birthday. So that Sunday grandma invited us up for dinner. It was a wonderful dinner as usual!! Grandma is a pretty amazing cook.
I love going up there and spending time with them. Grandpa Van is very special to me. He is one of the toughest men I know but in the same hand one of the kindest!! I'm so excited about the New Year and what it will bring to everyone. So far so good!!
On New Years Eve we asked everyone what was the best thing of 2008. I was thinking about this and I realize I have so many things to be greatful for and realize how pretty damn lucky I am.
I have the best husband in the world. He works hard everyday to make sure I'm able to stay home with Skylee, and we get a long so well. He always put his family over what he wants or needs. He is probably the most unselfish person I know.
Then my family I love them so much and so greatful everyday that I have them. I know they are always there for me.
And probably the best thing that every happened to me would be Skylee. She is a little angel.
I never wanted to be a mom and I realize that is the best job in the world and would never want to trade that for anything. I can't wait to teach her everything that I was taught by my parents and grandparents.
So anyways I'm wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year!!!

Christmas Day

Christmas 2008 was pretty awesome!!
Christmas Eve we went over to my mom and dad's for Christmas Dinner and to open gifts. Skylee thought it was great to help open gifts!!
Then Christmas morning Josh woke everyone up at 6:00am to open gifts. He is worse then a little kid!! And after that went to Lisa's to open gifts and have breakfast with everyone. It was really nice!!
Skylee recieved a couple of dolls but she has no intrest in them what so ever. She got a 4-wheeler from unlce Cody and she loves that. But I think her favorite toy was her Dyson vacuum!! She has to takes that everywhere!!
Then after we went down to Lisa's game room played pool and sang Karaoke!! Sky loved the microphone and the dancing!! I'm wondering if I have the next Solid Gold Dancer on my hands!!

NFR

So we just got back from the NFR. And what a time we had. Thursday night we went to the rodeo and we had awesome seats thanks to Wes. And the rest of the time we were shopping. I can't believe it but I actually got tired of shopping. Josh said that he was going write that one down. I wanted to buy everything for Skylee but Josh told me no!!
It was nice to get away and not be parents for a weekend. We forgot what that was like!!
My cute dad watched Skylee during the days we were gone. It sounds like they had a great time watching cartoons and playing!! Now everytime I say "Grandpa" she gets so excited.
But I'm so happy to be back home. I was so homesick for Skylee that I wanted to come home early. Nothing compares to your home and family!!!

Thanksgiving

So the Brown's and the Cowdells got together for Thanksgiving this year at my mom and dad's house. Mom made another amazing dinner. My grandma and grandpa Brown came down from Ogden to have dinner with us. Rod and Lisa came over as well. My sister and my cute niece Trysta and her boyfriend Jordan and my nephews Reid and Ty stopped by as well. It was nice to see everyone and eat good food. That is what Thanksgiving is all about!!

Holidays 2007

Thanksgiving is around the corner!! I love this time of year and being with your family and friends. Enjoying every one's company not having to worry about anything. Josh and I are so lucky to have families that love to hang out with each other. We all get together and have an awesome time.
We always find goofy things to do this time of year. Lisa likes to throw parties at her house,and sometimes by the end of the night her and my mom end up singing karaoke together; what a sight!! At my mom's house we go clay pigeon shooting.
It's just an awesome time and everyone is always invited to hang with us!! Happy Holidays

I cant believe that Halloween is almost here!!! Seems like like summer was just around the corner. Josh will be leaving soon for the muzzleloader hunt. I'm hoping that he finds a nice elk this year. I would love to go with him but me and Skylee will be hanging out togther. Next year for sure I'm going!!!
